Hi ladies!
I am so excited about this blog I've created called daugthersforthekingdom! Its been a project I felt God had been placing on my heart for a while now and I thank Him for giving me the opportunity to finally do it! God has been showing me so many things about my identity and purpose and through this blog I would like to share those things with you. I believe He wants all His daughters to know who they are, how much worth they have and the impact they can have on other people's lives and the world! Our society and world in general suffers from lack of knowledge. We've been hurt, wounded and rejected by those we love and care about and that has left us feeling hopeless, alone and worthless causing us to think and do things in ways that don't glorify God. There is a sense of emptiness we want to fill up but can't. We run to guys, success, popularity with friends, etc. to find that fulfillment but we are disappointed EVERY time! ~ God wants to change that! This blog is an opportunity to learn, share and acknowledge that we are broken people in need of a Savior who is Christ. To understand that we are all in this together, encourage each other to pursue and surrender who we are to Christ. Know and apply who we are in Christ and not be afraid to be set apart. It is an opportunity to experience completeness and fulfillment that only Christ can give! God wants us to embrace who we are as women to live for Him freely! He wants us to make Him our First Love, our First EVERYTHING! So I invite you to take this journey with me!! God is ready to reveal Himself!

I agree with you, In such a time as this it is so hard to find yourself with the world trying to hide him. Many people miss him because of their fear of "religion" How do you suggest we find him and keep him at the forefront of our mind in today's time?

Hi Joy! Yea you are right. Well one thing we must always keep in mind is our walk with Christ is not a religion it is a relationship with the LIVING Christ. It is a relationship with the One who saved us. In order to keep a relationship healthy, we know that we must always stay connected in every way possible. With Christ, that is seeking Him through prayer and remaining in His Word. Saturating our minds with what He says about us and His promises to us.The world will try to keep us busy and lure us away from Him BUT we must know that we cannot SURVIVE daily without being at His feet. I've experienced that in my walk with Him. I feel empty, exhausted and overwhelmed when I'm not plugged in. So we have to make the choice to stay connected Leave a Reply. |
